The following is a list of goods needed to setup an apartment for a refugee family.

    • One place setting of dishes per person
    • Pots with lids and frying pan
    • Mixing/serving bowls
    • One set of kitchen utensils
    • Can opener
  • Linens & Other Items
    • One towel per person
    • One set of sheets and blankets per bed
    • One pillow and pillowcase per person
    • Alarm clock
    • Paper, pens, and/or pencils
    • Light bulbs
  • Cleaning Supplies
    • Dish soap
    • Bathroom/kitchen cleaner
    • Sponges or cleaning rags
    • Laundry detergent
    • Two waste baskets
    • Paper towels
    • Mop or broom
    • Trash bags
  • Toiletries
    • Toilet paper
    • Shampoo
    • Soap
    • One toothbrush per person
    • Toothpaste
    • Personal hygiene items as appropriate

Clothing:
If you have clothing you would like to donate, you can take those donations to either First Baptist Church Raleigh or North Raleigh Ministries. Both have clothing closets where the local refugee agencies send families for clothing. Click on the links below for their information.
