So, you’d like to become a volunteer. That’s great!
One of our goals is to do our very best to keep everyone that serves and is served by Welcome House safe and accountable. With this in mind, please choose one of the options below to fill out your application with the CBF, and then fill out the contact form below letting us know what areas you are most interested in and someone will contact you soon.
Option 1:
If you already have a background check that is less than one year old, please email that background check to whrvolunteers@gmail.com. Then, please click here to fill out a waiver form: https://cbf.net/short-term-missions/short-term-missions-release-waiver.
Option 2:
If you do not have a background check that is less than one year old, please follow the steps below.
To be a vetted volunteer go to: https://cbf.net/short-term-missions and click on: individual application(domestic)
This includes:
- A volunteer application
- A background check (Have your own background check that is less than a year old? Please e-mail background check to whrvolunteers@gmail.com.)
- Child protection training (this will come to you AFTER your volunteer form/background check is processed-the program used is called “Mobilize my Ministry”. This link will be sent directly to your e-mail- you might find in your junk mail)
COVID vaccine is required to volunteer with Welcome House.
